That being said, I would have to say Call Of Duty: World At War sparked the market a few months before Left 4 Dead hit the scene. If anyone played Call Of Duty WaW to the end, they would have found there was a bonus level similar to Gears of War 2′s horde mode where the players must survive against Nazi/Imperial Army zombies. It is one of the game’s most famous features with the first map being Nacht der Untoten (“Night of the Undead” in German). And it’s definitely worth hours of extra gameplay.

Tips
Call Of Duty’s Nazi Zombies is pretty much impossible to finish without 4 solid players.
- For starters, you may want to designate one player to be a medic. So whenever a player is knocked down by the onslaught of zombies, he or she may be revived.
- Another useful thing to remember is that the hand gun you have to begin with is next to useless, so get the M1A1 Carbine on the wall after killing 1 zombie, and keep slamming ‘em with head shots.
- When reaching round 5, move your team into the basement room adjacent to the starting room, then have two players guard the door, and the other two holding off the windows and hole in the wall. For me, this has always been the best strategy.

Now, the next obvious thing would be to always repair the entry points. Especially at the end of each round, the team should take turns leaving the last zombie alive while 1 player is always leading him about. This gives everyone time to try get for the laser gun when gambling on the mystery box.
When getting the laser gun (or without it) have one player fight with his back against the first entry point to the right as you come out the basement room. While standing there, no one should shoot the zombies that are tearing away at the wood, as its a constant cash flow to just stand with your back to them and hold “e” for rebuilding the wall, it’s insane the amount of money you can make doing this. If you start on level 1, and leave 1 zombie at a single window, and just rebuild as he breaks the barrier, you will rake in cash like there’s no tomorrow, and swap out for each player.
So you can’t throw cash at the zombies, but having all that cash is perfect for gambling to get each player a laser gun in between the rounds, and hopefully stand a chance of surviving.
